The NNDSB invites applications for the following permanent position commencing school year.
PositionTeacher Grade 5/6
Required teaching qualifications- A valid Ontario College of Teachers Certificate
- A valid Certification of Registration from the Ontario College of Teachers
- Junior Qualifications
- Knowledge of Ministry Curriculum and Assessment documents
- Demonstrated experience with Apple based software and Mobile devices (iPad/Mac Book/iMac)
- Evidence of understanding of varied learners with a focus on ‘at‑risk’ students
- Evidence of supporting Literacy and Numeracy from a whole school perspective
- Evidence of integration of technology for the documentation and evaluation of student work
- Ability to work as part of a school team and communicate effectively
- Demonstrated ability to utilize EDSBY to support student learning and guardian communication
