The Manager for Graduate Recruitment is a part-time position responsible for executing a comprehensive recruitment strategy designed to engage, recruit, and enroll prospective graduate and doctoral students. This position reports to the Director for Graduate Recruitment and Degree Completion Programs. The manager supports academic program directors and the graduate recruitment team to support enrollment growth and increase awareness of TLU's graduate programs.
The successful candidate will be an energetic, relationship-driven professional with strong communication skills, a student-centered mindset, and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while achieving enrollment goals.
Key Responsibilities- Implement the institution’s multi-year strategic enrollment plan for graduate programs, including the Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) program.
- Execute recruitment activities for graduate and degree completion programs through virtual, on-campus, and off-campus engagement opportunities.
- Achieve annual recruitment goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) established by university leadership.
- Manage the admissions and enrollment process from inquiry through enrollment, including application review, credential evaluation, and applicant interviews.
- Build and maintain meaningful relationships with prospective students through personalized outreach via phone, email, virtual meetings, and in-person appointments.
- Travel to represent the university at recruitment events, conferences, and partnership meetings.
- Support faculty and program directors in developing and implementing recruitment initiatives that support program-specific enrollment goals.
- Coordinate special projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and student-centered experience for prospective students and university partners.
- Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions and communications.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Exhibit excellent telephone, email, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Two or more years of experience in admissions, enrollment management, higher education, or a related field.
- Experience working with graduate students and/or adult undergraduate student populations.
- Experience utilizing CRM systems, preferably Slate.
- Primarily office-based with a standard indoor work environment.
- Regular evening and weekend responsibilities.
- Overnight travel may be required.
