District Elementary Math Coordinator
To provide district-wide leadership and coordination for all aspects of curriculum, instruction, assessment, professional learning, and materials in the area of Mathematics to enhance and maximize the learning opportunities for students.
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree in education or related field. Master's degree preferred. Valid Texas Mathematics teacher certification. Significant experience participating in district level curriculum work. Campus or district leadership role experience preferred.
Knowledge of curriculum development strategies and best practices. Skill in organizing and coordinating multiple tasks; strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work with teachers in curriculum development; collect, analyze, and use data to improve student learning; and have an understanding of systems thinking.
