Provide support for the instructional and literary needs of students and faculty while maintaining the efficient operation of the media center.

Associate Degree

2 years of college (48 hrs) from an Institute of Higher Education

Or hold a Certificate of Qualification for Paraprofessional

* Must apply for TEA Instructional Aide Certification

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Working knowledge of library classification scheme

Proficiency in computer skills

General knowledge of audio-visual equipment

Clerical skills
