** Role Definition:
** As the Power Generation
** Production Manager**, you will lead and manage a high-complexity production and operations area focused on power generation systems and engine applications. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring safety, quality, and delivery performance, while advancing continuous improvement and supporting Caterpillar’s sustainability goals. This role requires strategic leadership to optimize processes, develop talent, and align production capabilities with evolving customer and business needs in the power generation space.

* What You Will Do:

*** Oversee daily production and assembly operations for power generation products, ensuring alignment with production targets, quality standards, and delivery commitments.
* Champion a strong safety culture and enforce adherence to all safety, environmental, and quality standards, ensuring compliance across all processes and continuous risk reduction.
* Monitor key performance metrics (efficiency, throughput, downtime, scrap, etc.), analyze trends, and implement data-driven improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
* Develop and manage production schedules, resource plans, and capacity alignment to meet customer demand and business objectives.
* Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for operational challenges; drive Lean/continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate waste and improve process capability.
* Lead, mentor, and develop supervisors and team members; manage performance, support career growth, and build a highly engaged, accountable workforce.
* Partner with engineering, supply chain, quality, and other functions to resolve issues, implement product/process changes, and support new product introductions.
* Utilize production data, reporting tools, and analytics to make informed decisions, communicate performance, and identify improvement opportunities.
* Prepare and deliver clear reports on production performance, safety, quality, and key initiatives to senior leadership; ensure effective communication across all levels.
* Support initiatives aligned with Caterpillar’s sustainability strategy, including energy efficiency, emissions reduction, and advancement of green power solutions.
