Overview
We are a small firm located in Seguin, TX seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Tax Professional to prepare, review, and analyze tax returns while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. The ideal candidate will provide accurate tax guidance, identify tax-saving opportunities, and support clients or the organization in meeting all tax obligations efficiently and ethically.
Responsibilities- Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, trust, and/or nonprofit tax returns
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
- Research tax issues and provide clear recommendations and solutions
- Identify tax planning opportunities to minimize tax liabilities
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax law changes and industry developments
- Communicate with clients, internal teams, and tax authorities as needed
- Assist with audits, notices, and tax examinations
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards at all times
- Minimum of 5 years of tax preparation
- Strong knowledge of U.S. tax codes and regulations
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., Ultra Tax)
- Advanced Excel skills preferred
- Proficient in Quick Books Desktop and Online.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines

Pay is based on experience.
