Caterpillar’s Industrial Power Systems Division (IPSD) is responsible for the marketing, sales, and manufacture of industrial engines for both Cat® and Perkins brands. Our global footprint enables us to support customers wherever they are located in the world.

IPSD currently has an opening for a Senior Talent Management Partner located in Seguin, Texas, or Mossville, Illinois. As a Senior Talent Management Partner you’ll play a key role in developing and implementing regional talent management programs, processes, and practices strategies that strengthen organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, leadership development, and talent management. As part of our global team, you will support IPSD facilities across North and Latin America and contribute to global, division-wide talent initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Serving as a thought leader for talent management programs and technology, and providing support to employees, leaders and the HR team on talent‑related questions and requests.
  • Assisting management in evaluating the effectiveness of talent practices and recommending areas for improvement.
  • Collaborating with the enterprise Center of Excellence team, global talent development group, and HR partners at multiple locations to share knowledge and build awareness of tools and solutions.
  • Working closely with the Senior Manager, Talent Management, to advance workforce planning and organizational development aligned to business priorities.
  • Managing the annual Employee Insights Survey process and supporting leaders in identifying and implementing engagement‑focused actions.
  • Managing participation in enterprise leadership development programs
  • Participating in and leading divisional projects on key development topics in partnership with global team members.

  • Influencing: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.
  • Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
  • Leadership Development: Knowledge of leadership development methods, tools, and techniques; ability to design and implement leadership development programs.
  • Talent Management: Knowledge of how an organization attracts, recruits, retains, identifies and develops talent; ability to develop the talent required for an organization to achieve its short-term and long-term goals.
  • Training and Development: Knowledge of employee training and development methodologies; ability to ensure that a target population has the knowledge and skills required to meet both tactical and strategic objectives.
Top Candidates Will Also Have
  • Background in Coaching, Leadership Development, and Change Management.
  • Strong collaborative skills, including communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills to address sensitive matters, support development, and encourage action.
  • Experience with coaching tools such as Clifton Strengths or similar.
  • Experience working as part of a global team.
  • Spanish-language proficiency or willingness to build capability using internal programs.
Additional Info
  • This position can be located in Seguin, TX or Mossville, IL
  • This role requires 5 days a week in office
  • Domestic relocation is available for those who qualify

  • International and Domestic travel up to 25%
