Position Summary

Job Title: PM Mechanic

Location: SAN ANTONIO

Essential Functions
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems using schematics and technical drawings.
  • Repair equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors, and other facility equipment as required.
  • Lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment.
  • Work independently and with other team members to complete repairs timely and safely.
  • Complete required daily paperwork and document parts and material usage.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • May perform as a backup to production line workers.
  • Understand and follow plant safety rules, including safe lifting practices and safe machine operation; use Personal Protective Equipment when required.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Work may change over time; duties may be added or modified without notice.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
  • 2 years of experience in a position equivalent to this role.
  • 0 years of experience managing people/projects.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs during the shift.
  • Basic knowledge of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and HMI work orders.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Team members must provide their own tools, except in California locations where tools are provided.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 4 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
  • 4 years of experience working in this position.
  • 2 years of experience managing people/projects.

Education Minimum Required
  • High School Diploma.
Preferred
  • Associate’s Degree in Vocational Training in Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulics, or Pneumatics.
