Position: Production Technician, After-Test-Assembly - 1st Shift

* Align and secure engine components according to work instructions
* Install gaskets, seals, bearings, hoses, covers, and visual components
* Ensure parts and materials used in assembly are defect-free
* Assist in problem-solving and improvement initiatives across departments
* Verify alignment of engine components using schematics and part prints
* Inspect parts and materials for quality defects
* Conduct audits and quality inspections to address known defects
* Perform torque audits, leak tests, and visual inspections on engines
* Submit and support resolution of C.P.S. Continuous Improvement cards
* Adhere to standard operating procedures and area-specific instructions
* Provide process information to supervisors and managers
* Occasionally participate in training and development
* Perform any other assigned duties
* Minimum of 2 months' experience in a machining, manufacturing, or warehouse environment or industry certification
* Ability to work well with others
* Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English
* General knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and/or Power Point
* Ability to adhere to safety procedures
* Previous experience reading and interpreting part prints and/or schematics
* Previous experience assembling engines, engine components, and/or generators
* Previous experience with Standard Operating Procedures or Standard Work
* Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
* Ability to perform repetitive operations
* Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
