Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 5 PM - 5 AM, 2-2-3 rotation
Pay: $30-40+/hr
Location: Seguin, TX
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain production machinery, including fillers, packaging lines, cappers, labelers, palletizers, and blow mold machinery.
- Lead changeover processes and preventative maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot and perform repairs to production equipment as needed, including checking fuses, verifying motor rotation, and performing 480-volt electrical work.
- Perform basic cleaning and upkeep of machinery to ensure operational efficiency.
- Assist in training new employees and lead by example in GMP and safety compliance.
- Carry tools and radio at all times to remain fully accessible during shifts.
- Ensure high-quality product output through constant observation and routine inspections.
- Report all emergencies, injuries, and production incidents immediately to the shift supervisor.
- Follow all safety policies and enforce GMP regulations, including required PPE and standard operating procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 2-3 years previous maintenance experience preferred
- Forklift experience and certification a plus
- Computer experience required, strong Excel knowledge preferred
- Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills, including electrical troubleshooting for 480-volt systems
- Ability to check fuses, verify motor rotation, and perform advanced equipment diagnostics
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics
- Basic math skills required
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for team collaboration
- Ability to walk, climb, and work in a physically demanding environment
- Knowledge of GMP rules and food safety practices
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed
