Essential Job Functions
- Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt and enters the receipt into the computer software.
- Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications and marks with identifying codes, figures, or letters.
- Keeps crib floor and shelves clean and orderly.
- Stores articles by determining the proper method of storage, identification, and stock location, considering temperature, humidity, height and weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities, and required space.
- Performs cycle counts, investigates, and reports reasons for discrepancies.
- Issues supplies/inventory and processes appropriate paperwork.
- Utilizes forklift to unload trucks or put stock away as required.
- Supports TS-16949 and ISO-14001 initiatives.
- Participates, complies, and supports environmental, health and safety system requirements.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; and to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer SkillsCompetence in personal computer. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, e‑mail) and familiar with other database related software.
ExperienceKnowledge of industrial machine components or a mechanical background is a plus but not required. Six months to a year experience preferred.
EducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent.
Physical RequirementsMust frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Working ConditionsWork within the plant factory environment with exposure to noise, dust, fiberglass, and heat. Must adhere to PPE requirements as defined in the safety manual when in the manufacturing area.
