Responsibilities- Promote a high level of cooperation with design engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, and marketing to ensure Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles are practiced, new products are launched on time, and manufacturing costs are controlled.
- Coordinate with Engineering and Operations on production processes and new product launches.
- Ensure manufacturing standards are maintained and aligned to shop floor operational levels.
- Review and align all manufacturing equipment to local, state, and federal safety standards.
- Develop new processes and standards for new product introductions, acquisition integrations, and product re‑alignments within the Ranch Hand facility.
- Refine, maintain, and implement the manufacturing vision to align with corporate objectives.
- Create, oversee, and implement annual Cap Ex plans.
- Evaluate new technical developments and investments that will advance company objectives.
- Effectively manage projects and delegate responsibilities.
- Facilitate and coordinate project activities to minimize project timelines.
- Promote a positive development culture including innovation, improvement, professional growth, teamwork, manufacturing excellence, and ownership.
- Oversee Manufacturing Engineering budget.
- Validate new equipment and fixtures for production implementation.
- 5 years of experience as a manager or supervisor within manufacturing engineering management.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Solidworks or other 3D modeling software.
- Ability to multi‑task and shift priorities as needed; high level of process management and improvement.
- Ability to work and communicate with other departments including Tooling, QA, Engineering and Manufacturing.
- Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information and communicate well with all levels of the organization; strong interpersonal skills.
Education and Experience
- 8 years of relevant manufacturing managerial experience.
- CNC fabrication, welding or powder coat manufacturing experience.
- Automotive OEM supplier or aftermarket experience.
Travel will be 20% of the role.
