• Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, etc.
• Communicate and coordinate with crew members to sustain a quality finished product that meets or exceeds customer expectations and is within specifications
• Properly load finished product bundles onto a flatbed trailer
• Read and execute pick ticket loading instructions and recognize product distinctions
• Execute standard operating procedures when loading trucks and railcars
• Use scanner equipment to scan material into inventory and onto shipments
• Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and uphold the CMC Safety Culture
• Work safely by following safety rules and wearing company PPE
• Understand start up, shutdown, and emergency procedures
• Perform daily housekeeping duties in the work area
• Troubleshoot work-related problems using job knowledge and teamwork

• Minimum 1 year field experience in heavy industrial operations and/or manufacturing preferred
• Ability to operate forklift and overhead crane required
• Must be able to work a 12-hour shift, including overtime, weekends and holidays
• Ability to stand for up to 12 hours; physical activity such as walking, climbing stairs, or reaching to work with equipment
• Ability to work with exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, dust, fumes and mists, uneven surfaces, loud noise, elevated work areas, and confined spaces
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs
• Team player with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Dependability in attendance and work completion; flexibility to meet business needs
• Basic computer skills
• Strong communication skills; ability to read, speak, and understand English in verbal and written communication

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
