Position: Part Time Maintenance Generalist- FAME Program Applicants- Seguin, TX

Job Details

Applicants MUST be enrolled in the FAME Program. This position will monitor equipment during production and make any necessary repairs or adjustments. All corrections must be documented. The technician will perform preventive maintenance and rebuild equipment as required, assist with installation of new equipment, manually grease, change oil, and clean various plant equipment. The role includes monitoring equipment and computer boards, troubleshooting mechanical problems using detailed schematics and blueprints.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience.

Must be able to climb ladders.

Must be able to reach, lift, and work overhead.

Must be able to walk, stand or sit for the duration of the shift.

Good hand-eye coordination.

Ability to tolerate climates ranging from very cold to very hot and from very wet to very dry.

Ability to communicate and work with others.

Ability to work with fragile devices requiring precise attention.

Ability to comply with OSHA standards.

Ability to understand and agree to follow safety rules.

Ability to work Saturday and Sunday if needed.

Capacity to move equipment and machinery more than 40 lbs when needed.

Ability to work on and inspect equipment, bending and turning as required.

Willingly move freely throughout the plant over and around equipment, people, and obstacles.

Must have at least 90 days since the last term date.
Not eligible for hire if terminated 3 times or more.
