Overview

Lippert will be relocating our RANCH HAND Shiner and Beeville, TX locations to Seguin, TX. This role will initially be based in Shiner, TX with a targeted relocation date of September 2026. Travel assistance will be available to Team Members if needed.

Machine Operator

Our Machine Operators/Fabrication Technicians are responsible for the set‑up and operation of brake presses, tube benders, laser cutting, and saws. No experience necessary.

Responsibilities
  • Operate machines to remove finished work pieces or to change tooling, set‑up, or work piece placement according to required machining sequences.
  • Confer with shift leads and managers to resolve machine malfunctions or production issues and obtain approval to continue production.
  • Listen to machines during operation to detect sounds such as those made by dull cutting tools or excessive vibration and adjust machines to compensate for problems.
  • Check to ensure that work pieces are properly lubricated and cooled during machine operation.
  • Measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures.
  • Clean machines, tooling, or parts, using solvents or solutions and rags.
  • Adjust machine feed and speed, change cutting tools, or adjust machine controls when automatic programming is faulty or if machines malfunction.
  • Monitor machine operation and control panel displays and compare readings to specifications to detect malfunctions.
  • Follow work instructions to operate machine control units to start and stop operation.
  • Review program specifications or blueprints to determine and set machine operations and sequencing, finished work piece dimensions, or numerical control sequences.
  • Help maintain necessary inventory of manufacturing supplies.
  • Assist with cycle counting of material to ensure inventory integrity.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing setting preferred, but not required.
  • Previous experience with machinery, basic machine set up, and small power tools preferred, but not required.
  • Must be able to read a tape measure.
  • Able to work and handle multiple job assignments, communicate in a team setting, and maintain a clean and organized work space.

Manufacturing/industry experience.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance
