- - Responsibilities:
Develop a general knowledge with all Rolling Mill systems so as to recognize offset conditions and assist to implement corrective actions, changes or adjustments to maintain effective Rolling Mill operations;
Direct bundling operation to ensure correct bundle piece counts and number and position of ties;
Obtains information concerning order specifications, rolling sequences, piece counts, product length and bundling perimeters, etc;
Makes minor adjustment to bundling sequence, ie, tyers, back stops, position on surge table, etc;
Become proficient in using all other equipment and tools (crane rigging and operations; torch, grinder and pneumatic tools; other hand tools; Mill Operation Systems, eg, QMOS, OWS, etc) to maintain effective Rolling Mill operations
