Assembler, Manufacturing ​/ Production

Alamo Industrial® has been a leading manufacturer of tractor‑mounted mowers, brush‑cutters, and other equipment for over 45 years, serving governmental, agricultural, and commercial turf markets.

Assemble parts to form component parts for grounds maintenance and agricultural equipment such as drive lines and gear boxes, working on the shop floor.

• Set up jobs by locating parts and performing minor set‑ups.
• Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, clips, rivets, cotter pins, or other fasteners using hand tools and portable pneumatic tools (e.g., import wrench).
• Remove small quantities of metal with hand files and pneumatic tools to achieve close fit between parts.
• Operate drills, riveting machines, or hydraulic crimping machines to assist in assembly.
• Disassemble gear boxes for salvage of parts.
• Specialize in the assembly of 15' equipment, hydraulic booms, single spindle machines, gear boxes, hose assemblies, and drive lines.
• Seal inserts such as bearing sand‑grease seals in hubs and sleeves using power tools.
• Attach blades to hubs on reel shafts.
• Run sound tests to verify correct assembly of equipment.
• Fill out work orders and timesheets.
• Handle material to locate and distribute parts.
• Perform minor paint touch‑up.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.

• Read blueprints and follow assembly instructions.
• Manual dexterity; mechanically inclined with good eye/hand coordination.
• Read measuring devices accurately.
• Operate forklift and overhead crane.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months of experience in an assembly‑related field preferred.

• Lift, push or pull up to 35 pounds alone and greater than 35 pounds with assistance.
• Stand for extended periods of time (up to 8+ hours) as required.
• Wear appropriate PPE, including hearing/eye protection, gloves, and safety shoes.
• Work overtime as needed to complete job assignments.
• Work in a non‑climate‑controlled manufacturing plant environment.
• Work in confined spaces.
• Tolerate heights.
• Frequent walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and climbing as required.
