3rd Shift Operator Job Description
This position is responsible for operating various pieces of equipment to ensure the quality of cut materials according to custom or stock specifications. This role requires adherence to customer quality requirements and manufacturing philosophies, with a focus on monitoring cutting performance and efficiency.
ResponsibilitiesOperate equipment to maintain quality of cut materials.
Monitor cutting performance and efficiency, including deburring as needed.
Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate material specifications.
Identify material types and gauges effectively.
Operate a forklift, overhead cranes, tape measure, calipers, and hand tools.
Lift and/or move materials of varying weights, with assistance for heavier items.
Read and write job numbers and label kits accordingly.
Exposure to metal fabrication concepts and processes.
Strong attention to detail.
6 months to 1 year of manufacturing or machine operating experience.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Experience with quality inspection, calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
Skills & Qualifications
Experience with general production, assembly, and machine operation.
Familiarity with hand tools, air tools, and assembly lines.
Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs.

Work EnvironmentWork hours are from 10 PM to 6 AM, Sunday through Thursday.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Seguin, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
