ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – 12-Hour Night Travel Contract in Seguin, TX 78155. Seeking an experienced Critical Care RN with 2+ years of ICU experience and current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications to join a supportive ICU travel team. • Setting: Acute Care – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Assignment Type: Travel Contract (Travel RN)
• Start Date: February 28, 2026
• End Date: April 25, 2026
• Duration: 8 weeks
• Shift: 12-Hour Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM), 3 shifts per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and holidays as scheduled
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1680-$1770/week

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-appropriate compact license or state licensure)
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required (Critical Care RN / ICU RN)
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required; PALS preferred (may be obtained on-site if available)
• Ability to float to Medical, Surgical, IPRU, and ER units as needed
• Proficiency with Medi Tech Expanse EMR preferred
• Experience with Pyxis medication systems preferred
• Strong critical thinking, independent practice skills, and effective communication in multidisciplinary teams

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill adult and occasional pediatric patients in a 9-bed ICU (ICU nursing, critical care nursing)
• Manage patient assignments typically at a 1:2 ratio, with occasional 1:1 or 1:3 based on acuity and census
• Administer and monitor continuous drips, titratable medications, and ventilator support (Avea ventilators)
• Provide care for post-cath lab, cardiac, respiratory, and medically complex patients
• Collaborate with hospitalists, respiratory therapists, pharmacy, and the broader clinical team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
• Float to Medical, Surgical, IPRU, and ER units as needed while maintaining safe, effective nursing care
• Accurately document patient care using Medi Tech Expanse and Pyxis systems
• Participate in department orientation, continuing education, and professional development opportunities
