Scope of Responsibility

Registered Nurses provide nursing care to a group of patients for a designated time frame and routinely lead a team of care providers. Nurses are responsible to the Director of ICU.

• Associates or better in Nursing
• Bachelor of Science Nursing or higher

• Current registration with the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners
• BLS Healthcare Provider
• ACLS within 6 months of hire
• PALS within 6 months of hire

• Employment contingent upon successful completion of immunization records

• Rarely (Less than 1/2 hour per day)
• Occasionally (1/2 to 2 1/2 hour per day)
• Frequently (2 1/2 to 5 1/2 hours per day)
• Continually (5 1/2 to 8 hours per day)
