Scope of Responsibility

Provides nursing care to a group of patients for a designated time frame. Routinely leads team of care providers.

Responsible to Director of Emergency Services

• Associates Degree Nursing or Bachelors of Science Nursing Degree

• Current licensure with the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners
• Obtains and maintains American Heart Association BLS and ACLS for Healthcare Provider
• Obtains and maintains TNCC within 18 months of employment
• Obtains and maintains PALS or ENPC within 6 months of employment
• Strongly recommend CEN
