The Certified Nurse Aide will provide assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident assessments and care plans.

• Assist residents in customary daily requirements and tasks in care and treatment such as bathing, feeding, dressing, observing intakes of food, care of hair and nails, moving residents from area to area, and responding to calls.
• Carry out duties and responsibilities in accordance with resident care policy and procedure.
• Measure and record vital signs as assigned by the Charge Nurse.
• Detect and report situations that may cause resident accidents or injuries.
• Contribute knowledge of resident’s conditions and needs to resident care plans.
• Observe and report symptoms, reactions, and changes of conditions to residents and the Charge Nurse.

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

• Must hold a valid Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) license.

• Experience in a long‑term care facility is preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.

The physical demands described here include regularly required tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, sliding, transferring, standing, sitting, walking, speaking, driving, balancing/climbing, stooping/kneeling, crouching/crawling, reaching, listening, seeing, and turning/twisting/leaning. As part of the role, the employee is regularly required to lift, carry, push/pull, and shift residents and items up to 50+ lbs.
