The Certified Nurse Aide will provide assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident assessments and care plans.

• Assist residents in daily personal care tasks such as bathing, feeding, dressing, observing intake of food, caring for hair and nails, and moving residents from area to area, including responding to calls.
• Carry out duties and responsibilities in accordance with resident care policy and procedure.
• Measure and record vital signs as assigned by the Charge Nurse.
• Detect and report situations that may cause resident accidents or injuries.
• Contribute knowledge of residents’ conditions and needs to resident care plans.
• Observe and report symptoms, reactions, and changes of conditions to residents and the Charge Nurse.

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Must hold a valid Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) license.

Experience in a long‑term care facility is preferred.

Must be at least 16 years of age.

Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, slide, transfer, and perform other physical tasks, including:

• Lifting up to 50+ lbs
• Carrying up to 50+ lbs
• Pushing/Pulling up to 50+ lbs
• Sliding/Transferring up to 50+ lbs
• Standing, sitting, and walking regularly
• Speaking, hearing, listening, and seeing adequately
• Driving, balancing, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching as needed
• Turning, twisting, and leaning frequently
