Assists the Golf Course Manager and Golf Pro with daily operations of the golf shop, including retail sales and customer service. This part‑time position usually works less than 20 hours per week on rotating shifts and is not eligible for City benefits.

• Assist golfers with scheduling tee times, checking in for play, and processing payment through the point‑of‑sale system.
• Monitor and manage course play to ensure proper pace and adherence to tee times.
• Help set up tournaments and prepare for weekly events.
• Manage inventory of hard and soft goods: receive shipments, price merchandise, maintain displays, and process sales transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pro shop, including the sales floor and counter areas.
• Assist with golf cart operation and practice facility as needed.
• Observe and enforce safety rules and procedures.

Perform other duties as may be required.

Knowledge of: the game of golf, golf rules, golf facility operations, and tournament operations.

Ability to: follow written and oral instructions; operate standard computer software (Word, Excel); establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and the public; stand and walk for extended periods; promote a positive professional image; maintain a valid Texas driver’s license and good driving record.

High school diploma or equivalent and one year of related experience.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License or reliable alternate transportation.
• Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) Seller/Server Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).

Starting Salary: $12.00 per hour.

Position will remain open until filled.
