Pay Rate: $18.50-19/hr

Position Summary

The Production Operator is a member of the bottling department. The position may work one of the following positions:
Filler, Case Packer, Palletizer, Case Former, Labeler, and Depalletizer.

Responsibilities

Manual operation of equipment assigned.
Clean and sanitize equipment assigned.
Various mechanical duties as necessary.
Perform changeovers as required.

Role in Food Safety:

Follow plant GMPs at all times and ensure work area is secure.

Job Requirements

Accurately maintain required records to ensure compliance with Company and/or government standards.
Work safely.
Any other tasks required by the supervisor.

Position that backs up this role during absence:

This position will be filled with any other operator trained in the use of equipment or the relief operator during an absence .

Physical Requirements:

This position requires the following physical demands up to 90% of the time.

Ability to turn head to look right/left as well as up and down.
Ability to twist body at waist.
Ability to bend/squat/kneel.
Ability to grasp bottles.
Ability to reach with both arms.
Ability to stand for 8 hours during a shift minus breaks and lunch.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Education:
A high school diploma or GED required.
Experience:
Minimum one year experience in a juice processing facility preferred.
Special Skills :
Ability to read/write in English.
Good communication skills.
