• Assist the manager in achieving the aims and objectives of the Statement of Purpose.
• Deputise in the absence of the Registered Manager.
• Support and manage the staff to enable them to meet the needs of the children and young people.
• Undertake direct work with children and young people as appropriate.
• Be the responsible person in managing child protection concerns and complaints.
• Work in partnership with other professionals to achieve optimum outcomes for young people.
• Offer supervision and support to senior staff in line with care Quality Standards and Children’s Homes Regulations 2015.

• Diploma 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
• Working towards or holds a Level 5 Diploma in leadership and management residential childcare.
• Current driving licence.

• 1 year’s relevant supervisory experience in the care sector.
