Construction Laborers

Overview

Hallaton, Inc. seeks to employ 55 construction laborers from 04/01/2026-12/31/2026. Duties:
Construction laborers will perform manual labor, such as moving sandbags, debris and hundreds of thousands of square feet of liner material used for water containment and landfill Lining Systems.
No Experience Required. Worksite 38393 Bayberry Ln, Selbyville DE 19975, and multiple worksites in Sussex County. Workers will be provided with daily transportation to and from the worksite in compliance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations.

The role involves performing manual labor related to lining systems, including handling/building materials as described above.

$20.40/hr, Mon-Fri; 40 hrs/wk. Shifts 7:00am-4:00pm. Overtime may be available at $30.60/hr employer guarantees work hours equal to at least 3/4s of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. Workers will be paid bi-weekly; the employer will use a single workweek for calculating wages. The employer will make all legally required deductions from wages and no other deductions.

The employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and related fees incurred by the H-2B worker. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or dismissal, the employer will provide or pay for reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed from, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer.

Transportation payments will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts.
