Suffolk County Community College is looking to fill one (1) Full Time Custodial Worker I position. The role includes routine custodial duties across the campus as well as emergency response duties.

• Mopping, applying floor finish, polishing and stripping floors, vacuuming carpets, dusting and polishing furniture, bookcases, and paneling.
• Washing windows, walls, woodwork, and emptying garbage cans and trash baskets.
• Cleansing bathrooms.
• Moving furniture and equipment within a building per direction.
• Performing painting during school recess.
• Shoveling snow and spreading ice melt when needed.
• Responding to emergencies (weather, county declarations, etc.).

Minimum education or experience requirements:
None.

Starting annual salary: $33,878 (Grade 10). Position eligible for medical benefits as offered by the College.
