Store Associate

Position Summary

Retail Store Associate – provides customer service in a leading retail setting, working independently and as part of a team to positively impact customers.

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion, and resolving service issues.
• Greet customers warmly, maintain eye contact, and help locate items.
• Perform cashier duties: handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision according to company policies.
• Maintain sales floor: restock shelves, check vendors, update pricing, and perform inventory tasks.
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed.
• Provide support to all departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when required, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy.
• Advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs.

• Remain upright on feet for sustained periods.
• Lift or exert up to 35 lbs occasionally, 10 lbs frequently, and lighter loads regularly, including overhead lifting.
• Maintain close visual acuity for tasks such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and inspecting small parts.

• At least 16 years of age.

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Anticipated weekly hours: 40. Full‑time. Pay range: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour.
