The Job You Will Perform:

• Provide visible and active leadership in delivering excellent safety results
• Coordinate and serve as lead for all efforts around the planning of the Annual Outage and conduct meetings and build the outage plan.
• Schedule Development:
  Create detailed, resource-loaded task level schedules.
• Task Readiness:
  Ensure scopes are "ready to work" by verifying part availability, permits, and approved documentation before the outage begins.
• Compliance and Safety:
  Guarantee that the schedule includes all safety protocols like Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Pre-Job Briefings, and Post-Maintenance Testing (PMT).
• Meeting Facilitation:
  Lead monthly, weekly and daily progress and alignment meetings across different departments to manage constraints and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Post-Outage Review:
  Analyze data on uncompleted actions, track downtime costs, and develop critique reports to improve future cycle reliability.
• Support training processes in alignment with GMTI to ensure a pool of highly skilled team members
• Build effective systems and materials such as maintenance procedures (SOP), troubleshooting documents (TCC), and other training materials
• Coordinate within departments and other business units to optimize mill and area reliability/maintenance needs
• Seek out and implement best practices using teams, databases, vendors, and other technical resources
• Support the manufacturing work systems (MWS) process to prioritize and plan daily work, routine outages, and annual outages including operational, maintenance, and contractor tasks
• Successfully execute daily maintenance work at a high productivity level, including precision maintenance execution (ensure FLLs fulfill MWS role/responsibilities/audit, ensure consistent documentation of work, ensure consistent use of precision procedures, ensure use of Best Practices, control work execution)
• Serve as a contractor coordinator (owner’s rep) as required
• Provide support for capital project development and implementation
• Fulfill weekend duty team leadership role for the Maintenance department

The Skills You Will Bring:

• B.S. degree in engineering or related field, or comparable work experience
• 5-10 years’ experience in manufacturing, preferably in mechanical or electrical maintenance and/or paper industry operations.
• Previous supervisory experience a plus.
• Previous experience as an outage coordinator or maintenance planner a plus.
