Family Medicine Physician | Southeast of Raleigh, NC – Rural Primary Care

A mission-driven community health organization serving rural Eastern North Carolina, ~30 miles from Raleigh
, is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive outpatient primary care.

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care
• Care for patients across the lifespan
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
• Conduct patient evaluations and prescribe medications
• Order labs and imaging as clinically appropriate
• Manage chronic diseases and support patient self-management
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in case reviews, team huddles, and patient-centered health initiatives
• Mentor and precept other clinicians
• Engage in continuing education and quality improvement
• Team-based care in a supportive clinical environment
• Meaningful opportunity to serve rural and underserved populations

• MD or DO
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine
• Valid North Carolina medical license
• Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred
• Experience with rural or underserved populations preferred
• Familiarity with team-based care or PCMH/PCHH models preferred
