Nov 05, 2024 - The Adjunct Lecturer conducts engaging lectures, tutorials, and consultations through both face-to-face and e-learning modes, ensuring lesson quality and effectiveness by implementing diverse teaching methods. This position coordinates with other tutors to align on course delivery and utilizes online resources for efficient communication and lesson facilitation. This role manages student assessments, oversees industry-based projects, and develops course materials, providing instruction for 1-2 courses per semester to adult learners.

Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate training sessions for adult learners.
  • Conduct formative and/or summative assessments for adult learners to assess retention of knowledge and competencies.
  • Develop/customize training and assessment materials for adult learners.
  • Support administration related to training and assessment as well as conform to the institution’s rules and procedures governing Continuing Education and Training (CET).
  • Conduct lectures and facilitate tutorials and practical sessions for adult learners.
  • Conduct assessment for adult learners to evaluate achievements of competencies and skills required.
  • Perform and conform to the procedures and rules governing the engagement with adult learners.
  • Infuse multicultural and diverse perspectives into the instructional process as appropriate and conduct classes in a manner that demonstrates respect for individual and cultural differences.
  • Model and cultivate open-minded inquiry, an appreciation for diverse perspectives, and creative problem-solving.
  • Develop and maintain healthy and positive working relationships with students, staff, faculty, and administration.
  • Design, develop and review course materials, as well as assessments.
