About the RoleWe're looking for an enthusiastic Gymnastics Educator to lead after-school gymnastics classes for elementary school students in Selma, California
.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children, has a background in gymnastics, and is passionate about creating a fun, safe, and engaging learning environment.
In this role, you will:- Lead structured gymnastics classes for elementary‑aged students
- Ensure student safety while teaching fundamental gymnastics skills
- Create an encouraging and inclusive learning environment
- Plan age‑appropriate activities that promote coordination, confidence, and physical development
- Manage student behavior using positive reinforcement
- Maintain accurate attendance and communicate any incidents when necessary
- Prepare and organize equipment before and after each class
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday & Friday · 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Program Dates: August 14, 2026 – December 16, 2026
Location: Selma, California
Compensation: $50/hour
Requirements- 18+ years of age
- Previous gymnastics coaching, teaching, or competitive gymnastics experience preferred
- Experience working with children is highly preferred
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Ability and willingness to complete 3+ hours of required online training before the program begins
