Position: Mechanical Engineer / Design Engineer

In this role, you'll contribute to the full product lifecycle-from concept and design to testing and production-while supporting key business goals such as profitability, product reliability, and operational efficiency. ** What You'll Do*

+ p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Create 3D models and detailed drawings using Solid Works, ensuring accuracy and structural integrity

+ p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Select components and materials based on product requirements and performance needs

+ p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Build and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and supporting documentation

+ p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Standardize designs by leveraging existing components to improve cost efficiency and reliability

+ p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Participate in field testing to evaluate product performance and make design improvements

+ p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Prepare and release Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)

+ p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Support troubleshooting efforts with the service team to resolve mechanical issues

+ p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Partner with Purchasing to source materials and approve vendors

+ p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Assist with prototype builds and ensure smooth transition from design to production

+ p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Promote and contribute to a strong safety culture in all work activities

** What You Bring*
* + p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering

+ p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> 3-5 years of experience in product design, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment

+ p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Strong proficiency with CAD tools, especially Solid Works

+ p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Solid understanding of mechanical design, materials selection, and manufacturing processes

+ p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Experience creating BOMs, performing basic stress analysis, and developing detailed part drawings

+ p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Familiarity with new product development processes (Stage Gate); PFMEA experience is a plus

+ p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0"> Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
