In this role, you’ll contribute to the full product lifecycle—from concept and design to testing and production—while supporting key business goals such as profitability, product reliability, and operational efficiency. What You’ll DoDesign and develop new products, as well as enhance existing ones
Create 3D models and detailed drawings using Solid Works, ensuring accuracy and structural integrity
Select components and materials based on product requirements and performance needs
Build and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and supporting documentation
Standardize designs by leveraging existing components to improve cost efficiency and reliability
Participate in field testing to evaluate product performance and make design improvements
Prepare and release Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
Support troubleshooting efforts with the service team to resolve mechanical issues
Partner with Purchasing to source materials and approve vendors
Assist with prototype builds and ensure smooth transition from design to production
Promote and contribute to a strong safety culture in all work activities
What You BringBachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering
3–5 years of experience in product design, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong proficiency with CAD tools, especially Solid Works
Solid understanding of mechanical design, materials selection, and manufacturing processes
Experience creating BOMs, performing basic stress analysis, and developing detailed part drawings
Familiarity with new product development processes (Stage Gate); PFMEA experience is a plus
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
Comfortable collaborating with cross‑functional teams
Clear communication skills, including the ability to document and explain technical concepts
