Job Description DAY TO DAY:
Manage and oversee network builds
Keep vendors on track
Help move projects from “built” → “ready to use”
Create structure, processes, and reports
COPILOT:This person is great at:
- Building big network projects (like laying cables and setting things up)
- Managing money and budgets
- Working with outside companies (vendors)
- Handling permits and rules
- Updating leadership on progress

- 7+ years working in telecom, fiber, or internet service provider networks
- Hands-on experience building and managing fiber networks (FTTH, PON, IP, or optical networks)
- Experience troubleshooting complex network issues (Tier II/III support)
Someone that can configure their systems (Nokia, Fujitsu)
Technical Knowledge- Understanding of fiber networks (XGS-PON, OLTs/ONTs)
- Knowledge of IP networking (routing, switching, Layer 2/3)
- Experience with optical networks (DWDM or transport systems)
- Proficient in monitoring/telemetry, ticketing, log analysis, and config management; scripting/automation
