Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position in Alabama requiring 2 years of recent specialty experience and a valid AL or compact RN license.

Job Details

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg unit,

• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM,

• 13-week travel assignment,

• Patient care provided on the Medical-Surgical floor,

• May be required to float within a 25-mile radius,

Job Requirements

• Active AL or compact RN license required at the time of consideration,

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience,

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (RCIS and RQI certifications not accepted),

• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months,

• All certifications must be valid for the assignment start and not expire within 30 days of the start date,

• Full US Social Security Number required for consideration,

• No experience as a permanent staff member at any location while applying as a traveler for this assignment,

Additional Information

• Must clock in and out using an electronic timekeeping system,

• Cannot accept Canadian SIN for identification,

• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are eligible at a reduced rate,

• Candidates must be listed as resigned in the employer HR system before starting travel assignments,
