Laborer – Skilled and Unskilled

Schedule:

Monday
- Friday / 7:00am – 3:00pm

Rate of Pay: $12.00 – $16.00 per hour

• Performs a variety of duties in street maintenance including working with concrete and sewer lines.
• Sweeping and cleaning streets.
• Perform operator maintenance including checking oil and other fluid levels.
• Perform building maintenance including removing trash from buildings and moving items to storage or to other locations.
• Assist with all other duties related to the Public Works. functions.

• Have a high school diploma or GES
• some related training or experience preferred
• Ability to work in various extremes of weather
• Ability to work non-standard hours including holidays and weekends.
• Must possess a valid Alabama Driver License or State issued .
