Position SummaryBush Hog is one of the most recognized and successful names in the Agricultural Market. The Production Supervisor - Assembly is a key position in the Company and will support and contribute to the company goals of profitability, return on investment, inventory turnover, and accident prevention. - Receiving, ensures that the department meets established safety standards, supervises and coordinates activities and work flow of workers in department. Supervise daily receiving activities, including, unloading, inspection, and documentation of incoming goods.

- Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, and Quality to align material flow with operational needs
- Supervise daily receiving activities, including unloading, inspection, and documentation of incoming goods
- Supervise daily materials activities including receiving, staging, issuing, and inventory control
- Ensure materials are available to support production schedules while minimizing excess inventory
- Oversee cycle counts and physical inventories; investigate and resolve variances
- Support production changeovers and special projects as needed
- Ensure proper material handling, storage, and labeling practices
- Identify opportunities to improve material flow, inventory accuracy, and warehouse efficiency
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and proper storage of materials in designated areas
- Train, coach, and develop team members to meet performance and productivity targets
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
- Monitor workflow and adjust staffing or processes to meet operational demands
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation for audits and internal reviews
- Complete and conduct employee performance appraisals and recommend personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, disciplinary measures and wage increases
- Ensure/conducts that employees are trained in the operation and safe use of equipment and machines
- Provides input for budget preparation and staffing levels based on workload
- Perform all duties assigned by Supervisor
Skills And Abilities
(KSA’s)
- Strong understanding of materials management and inventory control principles
- Effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Must be able to plan, prioritize and organize various activities
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines/production schedules
- Must be physically capable of standing/ walking the production floor for 8+ hour shifts
- Must be able to work overtime, including weekends
- May be required to travel
- Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or combination of education and experience
- 5+ years previous supervisory experience required
- 3-5 years of experience in materials, warehouse, or supply chain operations
- Working knowledge/experience in manufacturing environment required. Must be able to interpret specifications, blueprints and job orders
