Position SummaryBush Hog is one of the most recognized and successful names in the Agricultural Market. The Machine Operator is a key position in the Company and will support and contribute to the company goals of profitability, return on investment, inventory turnover, and accident prevention. The Machine Operator, under direct supervision, operates production machines to perform repetitive operations or produce identical parts as specified by blueprints and procedures.

- Adjust and operate machines to perform repetitive operations or produce identical parts
- Maintain production quantity, efficiency and quality on parts produced
- Load material into machine, initiate work cycle and unload final product
- Make simple quantity and quality checks
- Perform all other duties assigned by Supervisor
Skills And Abilities
(KSA’s)
- Capable of performing standard measurements using geometric tools (Tape Measure, Protractor, etc.)
- Basic math and reading skills needed
- Ability to understand and follow simple instructions
- Minimum dexterity required for use of hand and power tools
- Ability to operate under pressure
- Ability to lift, push or pull 50 lbs alone and 100 lbs with assistance
- Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written
- High School diploma or GED required
- 3+ months experience in Machine Shop
