Welder

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and fabrication, is seeking a Welder to join their dedicated team. As a Welder, you will be an essential part of the production department supporting the assembly and fabrication processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Pay Rate: $17.00/hr temp-to-perm (pay bumps when you go perm)

Shift Options: 1st (M-Th 4:00AM - 2:30PM) & 2nd (M-Th 2:30PM - 1:00AM). Both shifts have the possibility of mandatory overtime on Saturdays (8hrs) depending on production needs.

• Perform MIG welding with precision and adherence to safety standards
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication
• Complete weld tests upon hiring to demonstrate skill proficiency
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals

• 1-3 years of MIG welding experience
• Blueprint reading skills for weld testing
• Ability to do mental math and read tape measures
• Own hood and gloves for safety compliance
• Ability to pass a weld test upon hiring
• Reliable transportation to the work location in Selma, AL
