Hourly Full-Time / Days (7am-3:30pm - Monday-Friday)

Job Requirements

* At least 18 years of age

* Minimum high school graduate, GED, or equivalent work experience

* Eligible for employment in the US

* At least three (3) years of work experience as a Millwright

* Must be willing to meet the following requirements:

* Work in industrial conditions (may be warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise, heavy machinery, elevated working surfaces, and confined spaces (with proper safety training and safety protection)

* Undergo technical online testing, interview, and a formal hands-on assessment of skills

* Undergo a drug screen for illicit use of drugs as a condition of employment

* Undergo a job-related health assessment as a condition of employment

* Submit to periodic drug screens as a condition of employment

* Work any shift and/or a rotating shift schedule

* Work overtime on a regular basis and with last minute notification

* Work holidays and/or weekends on a regular basis

* Wear required safety equipment

It is preferred that candidates have the following skills and/or experience(s):

* Associates degree or certification(s) in the Millwright discipline

* A minimum of 3 years work experience in the Millwright discipline

* Relevant work experience in an industrial environment.

The Job You Will Perform:

This position will assist journeymen-level mechanical maintenance technicians in routine maintenance work as well as performing many duties independently. Our world class Global Manufacturing Training program provides paid hands-on experiences and classroom instruction to prepare you for your next promotion

Duties include, but are not limited to:

* Install machine and equipment according to lay-out plan, blueprints and other drawings

* Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, dial indicators and laser alignment equipment

* Install machinery, new and existing equipment

* Repair and lubricate machine and equipment

* Refurbish/maintain valves, pumps, gear boxes, bearings, agitators, conveyors, turbines, paper machines, lime kiln

* Measure for bearing clearance and shaft diameters

* Troubleshoot equipment reliability issues

* Fabricate structural materials as needed

* Other duties as assigned
