Maintenance Journeyman - Millwright

Hourly Full‑Time / Days (7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday – Friday)

• At least 18 years of age
• Minimum high school graduate, GED, or equivalent work experience
• Eligible for employment in the U.S.
• At least 3 years of work experience as a Millwright
• Must be willing to meet the following requirements:
  • Work in industrial conditions (warm/hot, dusty/dirty, hazardous chemicals, loud noise, heavy machinery, elevated surfaces, and confined spaces with proper safety training and protection)
  • Undergo technical online testing, interview, and a formal hands‑on assessment
  • Undergo a drug screen for illicit substance use
  • Undergo a job‑related health assessment
  • Submit to periodic drug screens
  • Work any shift and/or a rotating shift schedule
  • Work overtime regularly and with last‑minute notification
  • Work holidays and/or weekends regularly
  • Wear required safety equipment

• Associate’s degree or certification in the Millwright discipline
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in the Millwright discipline
• Relevant work experience in an industrial environment

• Install machine and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and drawings
• Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, dial indicators, and laser alignment equipment
• Install new and existing machinery
• Repair and lubricate machines and equipment
• Refurbish/maintain valves, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, agitators, conveyors, turbines, paper machines, and lime kilns
• Measure bearing clearance and shaft diameters
• Troubleshoot equipment reliability issues
• Fabricate structural materials as needed
• Other duties as assigned
