Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position in Alabama requiring 2 years of recent specialty experience and a valid AL or compact RN license.

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg unit
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week travel assignment
• Patient care provided on the Medical-Surgical floor
• May be required to float within a 25-mile radius
• Must clock in and out using an electronic timekeeping system
• Cannot accept Canadian SIN for identification
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are eligible at a reduced rate
• Candidates must be listed as resigned in the employer HR system before starting travel assignments

• Active AL or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (RCIS and RQI certifications not accepted)
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• All certifications must be valid for the assignment start and not expire within 30 days of the start date
• Full US Social Security Number required for consideration
• No experience as a permanent staff member at any location while applying as a traveler for this assignment
