Family Nurse Practitioner

Overview

Full-Time Family Nurse Practitioner – Selma, Alabama. $5,000 sign‑on bonus is offered.

The role provides patient‑focused care in an urgent care environment, including primary medical care, telemedicine and occupational medicine services.

• Diagnose and treat upper respiratory illnesses (cold, flu, strep, COVID, etc.).
• Perform minor procedures such as toenail removal, foreign object removal, suturing and splinting.
• Provide general orthopedic evaluation and management.
• Review x‑rays (to be over‑read by a radiologist).
• Address general dermatology and eye problems.
• Interpret general EKGs.
• Apply emergency management skills.
• Provide general gynecological care.
• Treat children of all ages.
• Conduct occupational medicine services.
• Deliver telemedicine patient encounters.

Clinic

Hours:

Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.;
Saturday & Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Rotating schedule (every other weekend):
Week 1:
Monday (ON), Tuesday (ON), Wednesday (OFF), Thursday (OFF), Friday (ON), Saturday (ON), Sunday (ON).
Week 2:
Monday (OFF), Tuesday (OFF), Wednesday (ON), Thursday (ON), Friday (OFF), Saturday (OFF), Sunday (OFF).

• Family Nurse Practitioner board certification.
• MSN or higher education; new graduates welcomed.
• DOT certification preferred or willingness to obtain at company expense.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office suite.
