The starting pay range is $21.00 - $23.00 per hour; the total pay range is $21.00 - $35.70 per hour.

About the RoleThe Specialty Sales Team Leader supports specialized consulting in apparel, accessories, home, baby, core beauty, and electronics departments, ensuring excellent guest experience and visual merchandising.
Responsibilities- Deliver guest experience commitments and train the team to maintain consistent operations.
- Actively observe team performance, provide feedback, hold accountability, and recognize outstanding guest moments.
- Review area metrics to identify improvement opportunities and align the team on the right behaviors.
- Plan daily and weekly workload, including merchandising sets, planograms, sales plans, events, and promotions.
- Lead onboarding and coaching, develop talent, and evaluate performance.
- Use department tools to provide personalized recommendations and influence guest purchases.
- Partner with third‑party vendors to meet brand standards and maintain merchant areas.
- Support backroom processes, organization, layout, and replenishment of the sales floor.
- Participate in hiring and onboarding processes.
- Ensure fitting rooms are welcoming, clean, and safe when applicable.
- Maintain a culture of ethical conduct, safety, compliance, and secure store practices.
- Support store emergency and compliance needs, and occasionally assume store‑level leadership on duty.
- Assist with back‑up cashier, order pick up, and Drive‑up duties while maintaining compliance with beverage laws.
- Perform any other duties based on business needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Previous retail experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to lead and hold others accountable.
- Effective communication skills across multiple devices.
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with handheld scanners and other technology as directed.
- Accurate cash handling and register operations.
- Physical ability to climb ladders, lift merchandise up to 15 pounds regularly, and lift up to 44 pounds occasionally.
- Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times.
Physical Requirements
Variable work schedule with nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times. Must respond to guest or team member issues, interpret instructions, handle cash, climb ladders, lift up to 44 pounds, and remain mobile for the duration of the shift. Exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other environmental elements is required.
