Role Description
:
The Production Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Selma, CA, responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations and ensuring production goals are met safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The Production Manager is responsible for delivering a first in class manufacturing experience to our team members, customers, and vendors while maintaining the overall operational performance and efficiency.
This starts with providing unwavering leadership, support and coaching to all manufacturing team members.
This includes staffing, safety, production planning, scheduling, shop maintenance & improvements.
- Manage the manufacturing facility to include all employee related issues such as managing, hiring, training, safety, discipline, evaluations and adherence to company policies and rules.
- Oversee all manufacturing processes to maintain safety, quality, and efficiency of production in a profitable way.
- Use ERP system to ensure adequate levels of raw material, buyout components, fabricated and machined parts.
- Maintain compliance in all areas to include safety practices, air quality regulations, health dept., etc.
- Ensure communications with direct reports by conducting regular one-on-one meetings with them.
- Responsible for plant or machine maintenance issues and ensure they are addressed.
- Drive a LEAN continuous improvement culture throughout the plant.
- Build a team culture that is centered on the company’s goals and company values.
- Work with all team members to streamline and increase productivity.
- Take ownership of the facility’s appearance both inside and out.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and knowledge
- 4+ years of plant/manufacturing leadership experience
- Demonstrated leadership in managing people and deadlines

- Must be computer savvy, experience with manufacturing software a plus
