DELIVERY DRIVER/TRUCK DRIVER (Class A License - Manual Transmission/No Restrictions)

Hours: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (hours may vary due to business needs)
Position: Hourly
Salary: $21 – $22 per hour
Payroll: Bi-Weekly
Age requirement: Must be at least 25 years of age to safely operate company trucks
Job Summary
Responsible for safe, courteous, and timely delivery of high-quality products to customers. Requires a valid Class A CDL, ability to operate manual transmission vehicles, minimum age of 25. Ensures safety and security during loading/unloading in Shipping and Receiving Department.
- Drive and operate company truck with manual transmission.
- Follow instructions, locate and read maps.
- Pre-inspect truck, prepare and secure loads.
- Pick up and deliver goods, verify accuracy.
- Assist with loading/unloading materials.
- Secure cargo using ropes, blocks, chains, or covers.
- Inspect trailers before and after trips, record defects.
- Complete and verify paperwork accurately.
- Maintain driver logs and comply with DOT regulations.
- Follow all applicable traffic laws and DOT regulations.
- Drive long distances when required, maintaining safe practices.
- Report incidents, accidents, or mechanical issues immediately.
- Keep trucks and equipment clean and in good order.
- Adhere to safety procedures and regulations.
- Comply with company safety policies, drug and alcohol testing.
- Perform any other job‑related tasks assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1–3 years professional driving experience, preferably Class
A. - Valid CDL – Class A required (manual transmission/no restrictions).
- Must be at least 25 years of age.
- Experience operating manual transmission vehicles.
- Clean driving record (current DMV record required).
- Compliance with traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safe driving.
- Willingness to comply with drug and alcohol testing policy.

May work in loud noise environment, near moving mechanical parts, heavy equipment, and tools. Regular outdoor weather conditions.
