We work with brands looking to scale aggressively, and we are looking for top-tier Google Ads specialists to join our team.

ABOUT

THE ROLE

We are looking for a senior financial operator to build the "financial backbone" of Vysta. We are moving beyond founder-led spreadsheets to professionalized financial infrastructure. You will own the entire financial stack—from high-level modeling and forecasting down to the operational details of payment processing and invoicing.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Strategic Forecasting & Financial Modeling

• Own the Model: Build and maintain the master financial model. You must provide a clear view of where the company is heading, not just where it has been.
• Scenario Planning: Run dynamic "what-if" scenarios for hiring, cash flow, and margin analysis. The CEO should not have to build spreadsheets to answer strategic questions.
• Revenue & Expense Forecasting: Move us from reactive tracking to proactive prediction. You will forecast revenue cycles and expense loads to guide executive decision‑making.

2. Financial Operations & Optimization

• Revenue Cycle Mapping: Map and optimize the journey of a dollar through the agency. Identify where cash gets stuck and reduce the friction between "closed deal" and "cash in bank".
• Rate Negotiation: Actively manage our financial vendor relationships. You are responsible for auditing and negotiating rates with payment processors (Stripe, banks, etc.) to minimize fees and optimize our bottom line.
• Tech Stack Ownership: Audit and streamline the finance tech stack. Build automations between our CRM, billing tools, and bank accounts to eliminate manual data entry.

3. Agency Profitability & Controls

• Unit Economics: Track profitability on a per-client and per-service basis. Flag "scope creep" or under‑priced retainers that are hurting margins.
• Budgeting & Cost Management: Lead the budgeting process. Track departmental spend against projections and hold the team accountable to the numbers.
• Compliance & Risk: Ensure we are compliant with all tax, legal, and banking regulations. Manage internal controls to protect company assets.
• The "Board Pack": Deliver a monthly financial packet that is clean, accurate, and actionable. It should require zero editing by the CEO.
• Strategic Partner: Serve as a true advisor to the CEO and COO. Don't just report data; interpret it and recommend specific business actions.

THE CANDIDATE PROFILE

  You have 7+ years of finance experience, with specific tenure as a Finance Lead/Director in a marketing agency or professional services firm. You understand retainers, churn, and utilization rates.
• Operational & Strategic: You can build a 3-year strategic model, but you are also willing to dig into the invoicing process to fix a bottleneck.
• Excel/Sheets Expert: You are in the top 1% of spreadsheet users. You build models that are robust, automated, and error-proof.
• Negotiator: You are comfortable picking up the phone to negotiate better terms with vendors and partners.

SUCCESS METRICS (FIRST 90 DAYS)

• Forecasting: A reliable 13-week cash flow forecast is live and accurate.
• Reporting: Monthly P&L and financial dashboards are delivered by the 10th of the month without CEO intervention.
• Optimization: A full audit of payment processors and subscriptions is complete, with actionable steps to reduce overhead.
• Clarity: The CEO has a clear, "dashboard" view of financial health at all times.
