We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Floor Manager to join our Lifestyle team (SKOLA & Osteria Gia). As the Floor Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant floor, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Semarang.

What you’ll be doing
  • Manage and coordinate the front‑of‑house team, including host and servers, to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Oversee the restaurant floor, respond to customer requests, and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and hygiene standards, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with inventory management, stock control, and cost control to maximise profitability.
  • Provide hands‑on training and development for the front‑of‑house team to continuously improve their skills and performance.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and management teams to optimise operations and drive continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the restaurant by implementing strategies to drive revenue, customer satisfaction, and team engagement.
What we’re looking for
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Floor Manager or equivalent role in a high‑end restaurant, fine dining restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment.
  • Proven track record of leading and motivating a team to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with both customers and colleagues.
  • Thorough understanding of food and beverage operations, including inventory management, cost control, and profitability.
  • Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to creating an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
